What I am thankful for –

Yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of Kelli and I being married.  It was a bit of a sad day because we are actually apart right now.  She is working for the Game & Fish – which requires her to be out in the field for 8 days, then come home for 6.  Not ideal, but not the worst either.  I have severely missed her so much this summer and wait impatiently every week for her to come home.

In thinking about our time together yesterday, I am so thankful for her.  There is no one that I would rather spend time with, no one that I am so comfortable with, and no one who continues to love me so much when I mess up.  What a beautiful example of how Christ loves us!  As with most who are married, we could write and write about how thankful we are for our spouses, but I am not going to do that today.  She will be here Tuesday night and I will tell her face to face.  I am just so thankful to be with her.

I also am thankful for the friendships I have made her in Laramie.  New friends and old.  It is wonderful to be able to attend church alone…feeling like a part of me is missing…and leave joyful in the conversations just had with my friends.

Running late for work now…My buddy Jon said he would move my blog to his “rarely updated” folder if I didn’t get on it…we’ll see.

  1. I suppose I can keep you out of rare posters for a while. We’ll see how this goes. Sorry she wasn’t able to be here to celebrate with you. Hopefully, you guys can do something fun on Tuesday…or babysit for us?!

  2. You have already been moved! 🙂
