grace.

Song I am working on for Sunday.  Processing through some heavy thoughts about grace.  Everytime I start to feel like I have a handle on what grace is and how amazing Jesus is to offer it freely to all…I am challenged to dig deeper.

How strong is your grace?
Strong enough to take our place…
…in guilt of sin?

How strong is your grace?
There’s people I can’t love
There’s people I won’t love

How deep is your love?
Does it reach into a murderer’s thoughts…
…and grant him grace?

How deep is your love?
Are we saved by works?
Is it all we’ve done?
Are we saved by all the good we’ve done?

I am a murderer, a robber named
a liar and a thief
On Damascus’ road and Calvery’s cross
I met a man, I met my God
I am a murderer, a robber named
a liar and a thief
I looked in Jesus’ eyes…
in my Savior’s eyes.

I asked “Lord, can you love me?
Can you love this mess of sinfullness?
Lord, can you love me?
I’ve been told by some, you would not forgive me
Lord, please love me.

Amazing love. how can it be?
That you my king would die for me?
Amazing love, I know it’s true
It’s my joy to honor you
In all I do, I honor you.
